My friend Grant recommended this location (which we swung by shortly after our trip to Kingdom Coffee). We weren’t able to stick around super long, but it was nice being able to sit, people-watch and talk for awhile. In the future, I’d like to come back here to sit, soak in more of the ambiance and try one of their full Cold Press Coffee Flights.
The Annabelle House was founded by a local family to be the first local coffee shop in Osseo. The name itself comes from the owner’s grandmother as a tribute. I expect she would be very proud of what came of her legacy.
Atmosphere & Experience
The interior is very peaceful. Similar to Kingdom Coffee, the Annabelle House uses wicker basket lighting, hanging planters on the walls, and a relaxing fresh ambience. Like you’re in a greenhouse for people. There’s enough seating here for people to sit, spread out and work/study for a while. There are large windows that bring in natural light, modern decor, white walls, and comfortable seating, all of which create a very relaxing and welcoming environment. There is even a community table in the back room to help foster connections between guests.

Austin’s Choice
I would highly recommend trying any one of their Cold Press Coffees. It’s a lot more common out in Minnesota than the rest of the Midwest funny enough. For those of you who aren’t familiar, Cold Press is made by steeping coarse-ground coffee beans in cold or room-temperature water for an extended period of time. Usually in the neighborhood of 12-24 hours. Instead of using heat to extract the flavor the cold water slowly pulls out the flavors and compounds. You’re often left with a naturally sweet and chocolatey flavor. I first had it at a coffee shop outside of Eau Claire…and it is incredible. The best places use cold milk to dilute it down (you can use water as well, I just prefer milk).
