Kate’s Coffee Koop’s physical location (based out of Clear Lake, WI) was rather unique, sharing the same building as a financial institution. However, Kate primarily operates out of a mobile specialty-coffee truck (named “Betsy”) serving customers throughout Western Wisconsin. Alongside traditional Coffee/Tea options, they also offer smoothies, Italian Sodas and local baked goods.

Atmosphere & Experience

The interior was a mix between modern lighting, colors, and a wooden ceiling (on one half of the room) and the other side was more of a sun-room “let’s gather” community style approach. There was a table set up with board games as well for locals to come in and play.

When looking into some of the more unique traits about this place, I found that they are also driven by a faith-based mission to serve coffee and spread the love of Jesus to all who can hear it! They also donate a portion of their sales to local charities and businesses as a way to give back to their community. Katie’s Coffee Koop also offers customized service for private events and pop-ups, as they try to keep their own experience mobile and interesting!

Overall, this is a great choice for someone who likes to support good causes in non-traditional settings, drink quality coffee, and help their local community.

I tried one of their more unique italian sodas during my visit. I’m pulling off memory for this one, but I believe it was club soda, cream, and flavored syrup.
