First Impressions
On the outside, Vendetta looks like any other bar lining the streets of Walker’s Point. The first time I visited, I almost missed it. Thankfully, the doors are notated with Vendetta’s signature golden “V” on a pair of glass doors. This semi-ambiguity actually helps the ambiance. Once you step inside, it feels like you’ve found something otherworldly.

Atmosphere & Experience
Upon entering, my breath was taken away. The interior design is a grand spectacle. High ceilings, cream city brick, chandeliers. The entire place gives off high-class vibes. Even the drinks are served in fancy glasses!
They have a stage up front where they regularly have jazz artists and other smooth genres perform for those in attendance.
One of the unique aspects of Vendetta is that it is a Coffee Bar, so they offer a select variety of hand-crafted alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. On top of that, they have a few beverages that rotate out every few months to help keep things fresh!
Above the bar, there is second-story balcony with additional seating. It’s a great area for people-watching!

Historic Touch
Vendetta prides itself on bringing the European origin (specifically the Italian) to America. You’ll find this quote on the wall at their locations.
“Espresso is an ITALIAN word. Macchiato is an ITALIAN word. Cappuccino is an ITALIAN word. For far too long, the American coffee culture has ignored the source by stealing the terms while delivering an experience and taste that falls far short of what the words promise. But no longer. Our goal is to (re)introduce the American public to an adventure of flavor and culture that has been withheld from them. Vendetta is an ITALIAN word.“

Austin’s Choice
If you’re feeling fancy, I’d suggest ordering the Espresso Martini, a refined classic that Vendetta does very well. If you’re not in the mood for alcohol, I’d recommend their Florentine Tonic (which is Cold Brew, Blackberry Syrup, Top Note Indian Tonic and Ice).
