Additional Coffee Shops – 2025

I spent the entirety of 2025 visiting coffee shops across Wisconsin. It was my initial plan to have an individualized post for each location. Each place has its own style, history and ambiance, and l wanted to give you an opportunity to experience some of those qualities through my eyes. 

However, I have to embrace the reality of the situation. The part I enjoy most about this hobby is the travel, the random/spontaneous adventures and meeting new and interesting people. Visiting as many coffee shops as I do means that often it is not feasible for me to write on my experiences for every one. However, I still want to showcase the locations I visited and give you the opportunity to connect with these small businesses. 

The coffee shops that stood out most to me, will have their own individualized reviews as normal. I still have many coffee shops in the pipeline for this treatment. The remainder from 2025, will be found on this list.

So here’s what I’ll do: Each location below will contain a short sentence or two about the experience there. I’ll try to write down the drink I ordered if I remember it. Along with that, I will include links pertaining to the businesses, be that a website, social media account or both. I’ve also included links to my Instagram posts if you would like to see pictures from my visit.

Regardless of how I feel about specific ambiances or experiences, the most important thing to me is that you give every coffee shop a chance. Every location (and owner) has their own unique perspective on what they believe a coffee shop should be like. None of these are an incorrect way to do it. So please, check them out for yourselves to see what your own favorites are!

Note: They had taxidermy animals lining the walls. This place really feels like back-country Wisconsin. Hunting-themed in a remote town. They had house-made ‘Shotgun’ energy drinks. The remote nature of their town meant zero cell service. This made for some good distraction-free time for my to paint & draw.
