First Impression, Atmosphere & Experience

The Shop on Main (TSOM) in Oconto, WI was opened in the summer of 2021 by Lynn Hearley. The building itself is what really caught my eye; a brick building constructed in 1936 that originally served as an Oldsmobile dealership. Much of TSOM’s decor appears to be designed around that history.

The business is a combined coffee/gift shop and art gallery. It’s important to note that many of the wares offered here at TSOM are more “high quality” than a traditional gift shop and getting to tour the art selection was an added bonus for me. They serve Stone Creek Coffee, loose leaf tea, Ashby’s Ice Cream and they even make their own lotus drinks.
